CAD Engineer

Responsibilities:  Design new products using computer-aided design software. Create engineering drawings per ASME Y14.5-2009. Create Prototypes of products and make design improvements based on protype testing. Work with engineers to develop, market, and implement product. Participates in new product development teams and product launch teams to facilitate the introduction of new products. Create solid modesl of products from engineer`s sketches or from other engineering documentation.

Requirements:  Experience in medical device manufacturing preferred. Bachelor`s degree (B.S.) in an engineering or a Technical or Associates degree with 1-2 years experience or a minimum of 5-7 years of CAD experience.

Assembler III

Department:  Surgical Trays
Location(s):  LaFollette, TN
Shift:  7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. + overtime as needed

Sr Database Admin/Systems Ana

Description:  DeRoyal, delivering high quality medical products and innovative healthcare services, is actively searching for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join our Corporate IT staff. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of database management experience in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:  • Responsible for the management of all Oracle databases used by DeRoyal. May also involve administration of Informix and MS-SQL databases. • Performs Database Administration on various operating systems, including but not limited to AIX, Linux, and Windows. Includes hardware setup, operating system configuration, and other layered software installation and configuration. Perform installs and upgrades of database software, including client software on desktops. • Ensures systems are available and performing optimally. • Monitors databases to optimize performance, resource use, and physical implementations of databases. • Maintains development, test and production environments. Performs data copies between environments. Restores data as needed. • Helps define, implement, document, monitor and maintain database security. • Develops and executes policies and procedures for backup, recovery, and disaster planning. • Performs maintenance and backups during off-peak hours, including weekends. • Troubleshoots and correct problems in a timely, efficient manner. • Plans, conducts and coordinates systems projects through the design, coding, testing and installation phases by means of thorough knowledge of advanced computer systems and software design knowledge.

Requirements:  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field. • Requires minimum of five years related experience. • Requires strong knowledge of relational databases such as MS-SQL and Oracle. • Experience with Oracle 10g and 11g on UNIX (AIX preferred) is required. • UNIX shell scripting, Storage Area Network and software developments skills are also preferred. • Strong analytical skills required.

Responsibilities:  Responsibilities include selling operating room and medical device products to hospitals and surgery centers.

Requirements:  Qualified candidates should have prior sales experience, preferably with medical product sales, as well as experience using copiers, business machines, and computers. To qualify, you must have a BS degree, or a combination of education and experience, or equivalent experience in medical sales, a willingness to travel, and a professional attitude and appearance. Computer experience and the ability to produce Excel spreadsheets, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, and a working knowledge of the Internet required.

Regulatory Specialist

Description:  DeRoyal, delivering high quality medical products and innovative healthcare services, is actively searching for a Regulatory Specialist to join our Corporate Staff.

Responsibilities:  Some responsibilities include: Helps to ensure the Company’s compliance to regulatory requirements for both domestic and international markets. Evaluates new medical device products and suggests changes to existing products to assist design team in meeting any regulatory requirements. Initiates and completes appropriate steps/paperwork. Develops and maintains pre-market approval documentation for new devices (510k, Technical Files) and modifications of existing devices. Investigates product system complaints and, if necessary, creates and submits reports to regulatory agencies (FDA, Competent Authorities, etc.) within required time-frame. Assists in the creation and maintenance of regulatory facility registrations, device listings and any other licenses or required regulatory documents for all divisions. Researches and keeps abreast of domestic and international regulatory issues related to the industry such as new standards, revised regulations, etc. and keeps relevant departments informed. Coordinates and assists with corrective actions taken regarding product/quality system deficiencies (Recall, Advisory Notices, etc.) and the relevant notifications to Regulatory authorities. Participates and presents training information to new hires and other departments within the company. Assists in the development of procedures an/or training materials for the Regulatory department. Reviews labeling material for products to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum 5 years relevant experience required. Must be knowledgeable with all applicable sections of the 21 CFR, 510(k) submissions, and MDR reporting and other domestic and international regulatory issues.
