Responsibilities: Prepare a new unit of measure for off shore items. Set up process that consists of internal shipping unit of measure between off shore and domestic facilities.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems for end-users. Augment issue resolution with any related written instructions/screen shots or enhance training efforts.
Monitor MPS/MRP performance through trending/archiving run times, planning file records counts, version specification changes, etc.
Work with Information Technology to develop and support a PC Customer specific labeling project.
Use Oracle Universal Productivity Kit to document end-user training materials across multiple software systems. (JDE, Internet, Labeling, Supplier Information Management solution, etc.)
Review planning parameters to clean up data inconsistencies and develop new planning strategies that will help result in greater manufacturing efficiencies and save money.
Help develop and implement processes where planning parameters will be monitored and reviewed on a regular schedule and updated in a more automated method.
Help develop and implement process and data monitoring tools – i.e. new MicroStrategy applications.

Implement a system to support and allow shipping direct from off shore facilities to other locations around the world.
Work with Information Technology to explore more robust video conferencing opportunities for off shore plants as a means to reduce expensive air travel to those facilities.
Help set-up the systems for European distribution methods and potential expansion opportunities.
Data importing requirements for FDA and DGM for Supply Chain Management / Manufacturing.
Develop analytic tools and methods for monitoring a host of relevant workorder attributes including trending of essential matrix such as timely workorder start-times and timely workorder closes.
Help created new processes that will utilize relevant daily outside-DeRoyal data to enhance customer service levels. An example of external data elements that need to be explored is nightly data exchanges with DeRoyal’s largest distributors, their on hand balances, their on order quantities and their forecasted quantities via branch.
Create more accurate efficiency data and charts for department and branch plants. Write specifications for new custom JDE reports and applications or changes to existing. Test, approved, and install new or changed reports/applications.
Develop analytic tools and methods for reviewing complex manufacturing cost attributes in an effort to identify relevant product cost drivers so that other lower cost alternatives can be evaluated.
Work to implement data analytic tools from transactional details from JDE and other sources of freight transactions/cost.
Utilize Microsoft Access and other analytic tools to monitor complex and diverse data files to determine relevant trends and monitor process that appear to be less than consistent or stable.

• Lean Manufacturing experience, including six sigma, 5S and Kaizen experience highly desired.
