AI Fabrication Technician

Department:  Atlanta International
Location(s):  Stone Mountain, GA
Shift:  1st Shift (Part Time)

Responsibilities:  Peform various duties to ensure and promote the efficient and productive functioning of the manufacturing facility. This position is considered part time. Average of 29 hours or less per week. Fabricate custom and prefabricated spinal braces. Fabrication duties include: Drape forming polyethylene over spinal molds, drawing to spinal order forms, cutting, grinding, and assembling spinal orthoses. Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of die cutting, sewing machines, compressors, vacuums and other related production or facility equipment.

Responsibilities:  THIS POSITION IS CURRENTLY A TEMPORARY POSITION. We are seeking entry level applicants to join our manufacturing production team on a temporary basis.(Approx 6-8 weeks) Load, unload, and move materials within or near plant, yard or work site. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Attaches identifying tags or lables to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers. Operates forklift (if assigned) to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, record shortages.

Responsibilities:  We are seeking entry level applicants to join our housekeeping team at the DeRoyal New Tazewell Campus Clean all assigned areas of administration offices and manufacturing facilities Conduct operations in accordance with safety requirements Read and/or follow oral and/or written directions Clean lobbies, break-rooms, offices, rest rooms. corridors and stairways; clean manufacturing areas such as warehouse, production areas and clean rooms as needed. Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, wax, or polish floors Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies Prioritize work daily and ensure the safe and efficient operation of housekeeping equipment Dust furniture, wash walls and woodwork; wash windows, door panels, and window seals. Wound Care Area Manager

Responsibilities:  Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads. Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers by phone. Work with Manager to analyze territories and develop sales strategies. Conduct customer seminars/in-services on wound healing and DeRoyal products. Displays or demonstrates products, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features. Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained. Estimates date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules. Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.

Requirements:  Qualified candidates should have prior sales experience, preferably with wound treatment or medical product sales, as well as experience using copiers, business machines, and computers. To qualify, you must have a BS degree, or a combination of education and experience, or equivalent experience in medical sales, a willingness to travel, and a professional attitude and appearance. RN, BSN and/or WOCN preferred. Computer experience and the ability to produce Excel spreadsheets, familiarity with all Microsoft Office applications, and a working knowledge of the Internet required.

Regulatory Specialist

Responsibilities:  Some responsibilities include: • Helping to ensure the Company’s compliance to regulatory requirements for both domestic and international markets. • Evaluating new medical device products and suggests changes to existing products to assist design team in meeting any regulatory requirements. • Developing and maintaining pre-market approval documentation for new devices and modifications of existing devices. • Investigating product system complaints and, if necessary, creating and submitting reports to regulatory agencies (FDA, Competent Authorities, etc.) within required time frame. • Assists in the creation and maintenance of regulatory facility registrations, device listings and any other licenses or required regulatory documents for all divisions. • Researches and keeps abreast of domestic and international regulatory issues related to the industry such as new standards, revised regulations, etc. and keeps relevant departments informed.

Requirements:  Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or minimum 4 years experience working in a regulatory capacity. Must be knowledgeable with all applicable sections of the 21 CFR, 510(k) submissions, and MDR reporting and other domestic and international regulatory issues.

Uses appropriate tools (stress analysis, FEA, etc.), to verify the integrity of designs • Is capable of both creative and detail-oriented design work; able to balance high thresholds of quality and timely project completion based on requirements • Monitors trends in engineering technology and assists with recommendations that will help us to maintain our technical edge • Organized. Must plan and execute multiple concurrent assignments and complete tasks at an aggressive pace • Familiar with human anatomy from an orthopedic perspective • Advanced understating of FDA and ISO guidelines for the development of implantable devices

Requirements:  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering, MS preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in development of orthopedic implants, preferably trauma products. • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to correspond with customers, vendors, or members of the business community. • Ability to effectively present information (orally and in writing) to management, customers, clients, and the general public. • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and theory such as geometry, statistics, algebra, calculus, and differential equations to address engineering issues. • Ability to operate standard office equipment including a photo-copier and fax machine • Basic Proficiency using a personal computer and Office software • Self-starter with ability to manage projects with limited oversight
