Vector OA Brace
Handmade from a pre-corrected cast mold to create positive patient mold
Process duplicates exact dimensions and contours of patient's leg to perfectly compress the soft
tissues, optimizing control while maintaining comfort
Patient-specific length shells are extended medially and laterally to maintain the three-point leverage
Patented genucentric hinge design mimics the motion of the knee, maintaining exact anatomical
alignment throughout range of motion
Pivoting straps allow straps to float with the muscles bellies as they fire to prevent migration
Carbon/composite construction is lightweight and strong, allowing the brace to contour to the
details of the anatomy and enhancing soft tissue containment
Brace suspension is guaranteed by mechanical locking compression of the soft tissues, provided
by supracondylar pads. Intimately fitted full shells and no-piston hinge help maintain brace
placement and complement suspension
Tibial crest and fibular head relief obtained from custom padding in these sensitive areas
eliminate shell interference during activity
Adjustable extension stops can be changed to 0°, 5°, 10° & 15°
Standard finish is iridescent metallic charcoal pattern of the natural carbon fiber, finished in a
glass-smooth clear coat
In addition to pre-corrected shells, three-point corrective padding enhances varus/valgus
corrective forces
Patient must be casted in the corrected position using three-point pressure to ensure appropriate unloading
of
the
