This Wrist/Thumb Spica supports the wrist and IP joint of the thumb. Soft inner lining wicks away perspiration for comfort and hygiene. Constructed of perforated foam for ventilation. May be trimmed for a custom fit. The splint features stretch loop straps for a precise anatomical fit that allows hand and finger function. Indications: De Ouervain's Syndrome, CMC arthritis, post-thumb fractures, tendon injury and repair.

Made of a smooth, comfortable,
durable neoprene-type material.
Comes with a thermoplastic
piece that can be easily molded
directly on the patient using warm
water (160-170°F! for a custom fit.
Features a pocket on the inside
where the thermoplastic material
is inserted. Thermoplastic insert is
removable from pocket when cool.
Available in three lengths: Short,
Mid and Long.

Indications: Short and Mid lengths indicated for thumb arthritis (osteo or
rheumatoid), MCP joint injuries (ligament, arthritis, and tendon lacerations),
MCP fusion, tendonitis and joint fractures. Long length indicated for De-
Ouervain's Syndrome, tenosynovitis, arthritis (within the radius, radiocarpal
joint, tendonitis (of the wrist and thumb), joint fractures, flexor/extensor injury/
repair, thumb joint replacment (CMC joint anthroplasty)).
