LMB-Royal™
Designed
to give you the
most
control against an opposing force. This material can be aggressively worked, remade and re-shaped without fingerprinting. Offers 80-
90% memory, allowing multiple re-shaping opportunities. Particularly good for
larger upper extremity splints, spasticity splints and when working with
uncooperative patients. LMB-Royal™ is non-stick, non-toxic and has an unlimited
shelf life.
Heat to 160°F - 170'E Apply bonding solvent for permanent self-bonding when attaching outriggers. Types of splints:
Large extremity splints (elbow) and resting hand.

Material Selection Guide
Use the following
chart
to help you determine which thermoplastic splinting material best suits your needs.
MEMORY:
The number of
times
the material allows you to reshape the product when heated.
Higher percentages of memory mean that the material has
more ability to rebound back to its original shape.
RIGIDITY:
The amount of force a splint can withstand. Different materials provide different degrees of rigidity.
CONTROLLED STRETCH:
The degree of control the material provides. The greater the control, the more aggressively you can work with the material.
BONDING ABILITY:
The material's ability to bond to another material. Stronger bonding ability can withstand greater force.
DRAPE:
The material's ability to conform/drape to the extremity. With increased drape, there is better conformability.
SURFACE
FINISH:
The material's ability to resist fingerprints. The greater the material's surface finish, the greater resistance it has to fingerprints.
